10 reasons why I start English blogging.

Hello everyone, my name is Hassy. I was born and raised in Tokyo and now I’m living oversea. You might think I’m a person who is likely to be showy or flashy as used to live in the central of urban city. Unfortunately I’m NOT, absolutely not. I always see my personality as a recluse who was accidentally originated here in Tokyo city.

Today, such a recluse  has successfully launched this blog because I want to…

1. Connect people in the world via internet.

It’s very simple idea to expect meeting new people oversea if I publish myself in a world common language. This is my first personal blogging but I made up my mind to start with English not Japanese even it will take twice or thrice of time to post because it seems to be more contributing to my life. I would welcome anyone involved on this website.

2. Let people out of Japan see how the real Japan is like.

We Japanese are getting aware that more foreigners are now visiting to our country for tourism. A number of blogs and magazines pertaining to Japanese food culture and life style are published but they cover only very major information or some promotion with business purpose . It’s not really perfect to describe our real life here. I hope this blog could make up such unbalanced info with my real recommendation and preference which I had acquired in my 30 years living life in Tokyo.

3. Brush up my English writing skill.

See my poor English writing like a kid. This is the result of my English learning life started from age 13 as a compulsory education in a junior high school. I know using language is the best and fastest way to master it. If I write my blog in a long run, I think I could be better at writing at least and prove writing English blog is an effective way to improve your skill. I have a favor to ask readers of this blog, please correct my English expressions when you find any mistakes!

4. Record my life activities.

A man forgets as time goes by even he goes through any worthy moment with your precious someone. In my case, I love eating and traveling, and sometimes also love meeting  people and challenging new stuff. Those are worthy for me to talking or boasting to my family and friends just because I wanna share with them  about how happy I was at the moment. But it’s  quite easy to forget if I don’t keep it on a record. I expect this blog becomes a log book of my life activities and gives me opportunities to make my life more right.

5. Get new ideas in me.

Blogging in English is really tough work for me but I believe thinking something through other language enhances my sensibility and stimulates my curiosity because some of my expression here is very newly outputted and composed in my whole life. It’s exhausting sometimes but it could lead me to find new fact and think up new ideas in the end.

6. Refresh my mind.

I don’t like writing very much and bloggin won’t be my hobby but it can refresh my feeling. Basically, I don’t need to stick to any sufferings of me when I’m focusing on writing and trying to change words from Japanese to English on my mind.

7. Compare opinions with others.

Some opinions are always dissimilar even between the same nationality. I’m Japanese but I have a lot different opinions and way of thinking with other Japanese.  So, how big a gap whould be between me and the others beyond the borders? It’s unimaginable however it hardly prove it unless I start discussion people other than Japanese. This blog can be a platform in order to know how people are different in opinion and such a different comes from.

8. Absorb more information from English search engine.

Searching on Internet is inevitable in composing my blog post. If you output any information in English, search query must be Engllish language too. Basically, living in Japan never requires me to search things in English though the amount of Japanese information is said that it’s only 2% of world total and it’s called “Digital devide”. To escape this situation,  this blog would be a very chance for me.

9. Share my idea with someone  in the world.

I believe all the people have something can’t say straightforwardly.  I have a lot. To express them in English not my mother language would help me to be more honest about realities in myself. Please note I never touch controversial historical and religious discussion since l believe such discussion and argument being developed in the world is not worthy for me and I can’t take any side in all the disputes.

10. Challenge SEO algorithm on an English basis.

Once you launch your blog, you tend to care about your site ranking on Google search engine. I’m not web engineer or programmer at all but I used to work in business which is related to web measures and solutions though it’s all about Japanese search engine.

It may be endless to raise more reasons to initiate the blog. Most advantages are pertaining to myself but I pray people start reading this and it will be something good to enlighten readers.
